CompArch Main Menu
CompArch is a software extension that
picks up where WinArch leaves off. CompArch deals with complex
composite arched shaped products and has the capability of developing
precise information for composite arched units that have 20 or more segments,
including stacked segments. CompArch
develops so much data that two pages are required in the specification
development, one for the frame and another for the glass.
Shapes handled by this program include...
-
LH
and RH Oblique Segments
- LH and RH Oblique Eyebrows
-
Twin Segment with Open Mullion
- Twin Segment with Closed Mullion
-
Triple Segment with Open Mullion
- Triple Segment with Closed Mullion
-
Triple Eyebrow with Open Mullion
- Triple Eyebrow with Closed Mullion

Key Benefits
 | Accurate scaled drawing for both the unit and the glass. |
 | All angle and arch information is accurately developed by CompArch.
It calculates arch length for each component of the specification along with
all overlap, bisect and miter angle information necessary to either
miter the joint where the arch intersects with the legs or base, or to
intersect the vertical leg with an overlapped arched head. |
 | Accurately reflects radius information for consistent unit development. |
 | Allows the user several alternatives for unit specification development
depending upon what information is known. |
 | Eliminates the possibility for "unfeasible"
specifications. For instance, the program will not allow the
user to develop an eyebrow specification with an arched height greater than
half the width. |
